Edit a load on a load line
Steps

Select the load line.
The line is highlighted.

From the Truss Modifications menu select Component Loading.
The Component Loading window displays.
- Select either Point Load or Distributed Load.
The appropriate window displays.
- Edit an existing load or add a new load. Select Save and then click OK.
The Component Load window redisplays.
- Click OK to close the window.
All of the existing load transfer point loads for the selected line are removed and the edited or added loads are transferred to the truss.
Notes:
- Load lines can be selected and moved. When they are selected and moved, all of the load transfer point loads for that line are removed and new ones are applied at the new location.
- Load lines also be trimmed. When they are trimmed, loads are transferred to any new trusses that the line intersects. If the line is parallel to the truss and it is trimmed, the load will be edited to the revised length of the line.
- Mirrored and copied load lines will also transfer loads to any trusses that they intersect.
- Any previously analyzed trusses that load line intersects will be set to unanalyzed after the load line is edited.
- Deleting a load line removes the point loads on the associated trusses.
